The entire TraumaData interface is designed to allow you to customize accomodate your Trauma Center's particular requirements by adding custom fields and entire sections.

This will allow you to track events which may not be included in the NTDB Statae or regional requirements, and can serve as the basis for QI and PI tracking as well as for gathering data for research projects.

You can set custom rules and triggers which will automatically flag QI and PI events: For example you can set a rule that all open fractures must have surgery within 6 hours and based on the injury time and surgery start time and event will be generated ready to be reviewed if the interval is greater than 6 hours.

TraumaSuite will let you know when your data meets the criteria for reporting. This is especially helpful when your State or regional criteria are not the same as NTDB.
